Tsaritsyn Park - walk, childhood memories, crowds of non-working people

We handed over here somehow analysis on genetics closefrom the museum-reserve Tsaritsyno. “Why not take a walk?” We thought, and soon we were under the canopy of majestic oaks and maples of the shady Tsaritsyn alleys. Besides us, there was a decent amount of people here: here and there couples with wheelchairs scurried about, young people basking in the grass, and older people on the benches ... and this is a normal working day. It seems to me that remote work and freelancing are more common than I thought, since there are so many people in the afternoon. Although it is generally noticeable in our area, as if nobody at all works ...

Childhood memories

Tsaritsyn Park has changed dramatically forrecent years, and who have been there before, 10-20 years ago, understands what I mean. Since all my childhood I lived at the Krasnogvardeyskaya station, the Tsaritsyno park was the most accessible for us. If, of course, then it could be called a park - rather a forest and mysterious ruins. Not that now.

My friends and I climbed almost all the buildings, looking forroyal treasure Most likely, we understood that it hardly exists, but it was much more interesting. The Bread House was guarded at that time, I remember how we dragged from it, jumping from the second floor into the sand pile, when the watchman was chasing us. But the Grand Palace was a very sad sight - in fact, some walls covered with grass and trees. It was very difficult to get to the very top, as there was not even an overlap, but we once climbed there. Sorry no pictures left since.

And even earlier, when I walked under the table,in the cold winter I broke ice on the Tsaritsyn puddles. It was fun for me, but a puddle was one, it turned out to be knee-deep, even though apparently it should not be. And I remembered, not how we would return home at breakneck speed, but that in such situations it is necessary to put a plastic bag on your bare foot and then put everything else on top, wet :)

Pros and cons of upgrading Tsaritsyno Park

On the one hand, it's great that everything is soennobled: made the paths, lighting, zababahali fountain, fenced the entire park fence and restored all the palaces. It is very convenient to walk with a pram, there is no rubbish and everything around is modern and pleasant to the eye. On the other hand, I would be glad to see there some ruins, some of the very old times left from the time of Catherine. Nowadays, the buildings all look like newbuildings (most likely they are), and Tsaritsyn Park has lost the atmosphere of historicity, so to speak, it feels bad that this place has a history. Although this does not make it less attractive for walks, the territory is huge, compared to estate Ostafyevo, about which I wrote a little earlier.

The positive point of refining isand the fact that you can walk there quietly, despite the dense forest. First, the entrances are framed and “valiant and honest” drives around Tsaritsyno, and secondly it is forbidden to drink alcohol. Previously, there were drunken inadequacies who came to the kebabs. A big disadvantage, at least for me, is the ban on rollerblading and cycling. No, on the contrary, to make bicycle lanes and allow, since so much money was thundered there, even on excursion electric cars went bankrupt. To ride a bike in the south of Moscow is nowhere else. It was a great place for pokatushek, not breathing exhaust gases along the roads.

Tsaritsyno Park how to get there and other information

The two main entrances are at the metro Orekhovo andmetro Tsaritsyno. Through what to go there is no difference. From the subway walk about 5 minutes. By car, it makes sense to go to the Orekhovo metro station, there is parking there or through Novotsarytsynskoe highway to the parking entrances near the Tsaritsino metro station. But it is precisely from the Tsaritsyno metro station that one cannot drive to the park by car. There, under the railway bridge, they made a one-way traffic, so you need to go precisely from the Orekhovo-Borisovo side.

The entrance to the park is free, open from 6 am to 12 at night. The entrance to the museum is paid and the mode of operation depends on the day of the week, it is better to look at the official site.
