At your leisure, it is worth visiting the Museum of History and Culture (the collection contains 200,000 valuable exhibits in the form of antique coins, a bronze helmet of a warrior of the 6th century BC and others), as well as the Samarkand Museum of Local Lore (elements of European and Asian styles are traced in the decoration of the building) : the exhibits of the museum collection are divided into 2 parts - “history” (it will be possible to get acquainted with the first manuscripts, inspect the collection of weapons, household items, jewelry, as well as the exposition “19th century landlord's house”) and “nature” (visitors will see herbariums, landscape expositions, entomological and botanical collections, acquaintance with stands for nature protection).
