Zoo in Ljubljana

Today it contains more than 500 inhabitants belonging to 120 species, including rare.
ZOO Ljubljana
In 2008, the zoo in the Slovenian capital began a large-scale reconstruction, due to which all its guests have already moved to new enclosures or are planning to do so in the near future. Red pandas, California sea lions, lynxes and Siberian Cranes have appeared in the park. Now the name of the zoo in Ljubljana has become a symbol of a new modern approach to keeping animals in captivity.
Pride and achievement
The park prides itself on the fact that its inhabitants feel comfortable, and visitors can observe them in conditions that are as close to natural as possible. New buildings, aviaries and expositions help both children and adults feel like real naturalists.
