Good and budget guesthouse in Chiang Mai - Rendezvous Guest house
By tradition, I am writing about a guesthouse in Chiang Mai, where I stayed for a week. I can't say that he is the best, but he suited me in all respects, given that plus or minus 100 baht the weather does not make, especially when Loy Krathong on the nose and all the cheap hotels in the area are busy.
I'm not just saying that, I once again got confused and walked around about 20 guesthouses in a square and found out everything. So, if I have time, then in the near future there will also be review of budget (and not so) guesthouses in the center of Chiang Mai.

Price and booking
So, for a room with a fan and breakfast in the Rendezvous Guest house, I pay 480 baht (though it would be two, I would pay 550). Breakfast itself costs about 50 baht and is served from 7 am to 10 pm, a good incentive to get up early :)
Moreover, I already found a guesthouse for 500 baht with kondeya and even better than that in terms of the situation, but I was too lazy to move, given that I do not use air conditioning in Thailand, or very rarely. In general, for the high season, I rate this room as a fairly good option for combining price and quality..

The rooms, it seems to me, are about all the same. And in mine there is an air conditioner, it's just turned off and turned on for an additional fee. The place is quiet, although it is located 5 minutes from Tha Pae Gate. The contingent is mainly elderly Europeans, apparently they are attracted by the breakfast included in the price.
A fan, a standard bathroom with hot water, a balcony with a table, mosquitoes everywhere, a refrigerator, a TV, good Wifi (Skype pulls normally) and some kind of a table for working while standing! Someone doesn't need it, but I'm very glad, I always wanted to be able to work at the computer while sitting or standing..

Out of season, prices are lower. Cozy and cute, not noisy on the street, but you can clearly hear what is happening in the corridor, since the windows also overlook there.

The only disadvantage of the guest house is that it still has windows that open onto the inner corridor and through them you can hear quite well when someone walks there. However, the people are quiet.
