Here you will have to rearrange your legs carefully, choosing a place where to take the next step. There is a long way to go to deep water, so it is better to wear swimming slippers. With the waves, things are much more pleasant than in the deep-water neighboring Lamai. Shallow water on Laem Nan usually dampens large waves and the sea can be unbreakable only with very strong winds in the off-season.
Sun beds and shade
Laem Nan Beach has a small width and sparse vegetation along the sea. High water allows you to leave a couple of rows of sun loungers on the shore. Only part of the guests go out for a swim in the shallow sea and take a walk, while the rest prefer to stay by the pool, enjoying a beautiful view from under the shade of umbrellas.
On the beach itself there are palms and several deciduous trees, some of them so large that a company of soldiers with a field kitchen can be placed in their shade. The area of Koh Samui around Laem Nan beach is the outskirts of Lamai. To be more precise, the exit towards Lam Nan is located near the IT Center on Lamae. On the ring road there is a Family Market mini-market, a real estate agency, several more commercial organizations and shops. Literally after three hundred meters, the ascent of the Ring Road begins uphill, which leads to the side Chaweng past a small number of hotels. The whole cluster of basic amenities, shops, services and services is located on Lamai itself.
Laem Nan is built up with luxury hotels and expensive villas, so all services are offered to guests in the complex and are included in the rental price. How to find the beach
The main landmark in order not to miss the turn to Laem Nan is IT Complex Samui. If you move from Chaweng to the side Lamai, then when you go down the last hill of the pass and come out of the big turn of the ring road, carefully look at the left side. 50 m after the IT Complex there will be a secondary road towards the sea.
Continue straight ahead to the beautiful Renaissance Koh Samui Resort & Spa, and a hundred meters after it there will be an intersection where you need to turn right. This path will end with a parking lot for five cars, after which you will have to walk to the beach.
