Famous streets
The main thoroughfare is the picturesque Stefan the Great boulevard, which is about 4 km long. For many years, the main street was not allocated in Chisinau, but gradually this boulevard became the most significant in the fate of the city. One of the most attractive streets in Chisinau is named after Dmitry Cantemir (famous scientist and politician). The venue for all important social events is the Great National Assembly Square.
