I will briefly tell you about the Trat - Koh Chang ferry. As usual, Thais have some kind of confusion with names, so it's difficult to figure it out for the first time, although in reality there are no difficulties. So there are two piers in Trat province, from which you can sail to the island of Koh Chang. How to get to Koh Chang from Bangkok I already wrote, so if you don’t know, read.
For some reason, each pier has one more name, although one could get by. Most likely, this is the name of the settlement next to the pier or something else geographic next to the pier. It seems to me that it is not necessary to know the second names, and in general the expression «Ferry to ko chang», to explain where you need to go. Nevertheless, in the tables with the schedule of pairs, I have given these names too..

Laem Ngob Pier (Krommaluang Chumporn Pier)
Another pier, the third on the mainland, located east of the first two. But as far as I know, ferries to Koh Chang do not run from there now. And if you see the ferry line on the map (as on the map at the beginning of the article) or the schedule from this pier, then most likely the information is out of date. I managed to swim from only two piers. By the way, Laem Ngob is the name of the entire coastal area where all the berths are located, so it may appear somewhere else, for example, on the poster with the Center Point Pier Laem Ngob schedule 🙂
P.S. To summarize somehow, then don't worry, you will figure it out on the spot, the main thing is to catch the last ferry, otherwise you will have to spend the night in Trat in the guesthouse or at next to the pier.
