The last article is about our visit to the Taman Peninsula, which left lasting impressions in my memory. I already posted a post about martian landscapes, look, you will understand why 🙂 Well, today is a post about a volcano. Yes, yes, and this is also here.

Karabetova Sopka
It turns out that we have an active volcano in Central Russia, though mud volcano. The road there was difficult and dangerous, we even lost one wheel, but it was worth it. If only for the sake of unusual landscapes, reminiscent of the lunar, at least I imagine them that way. There was even a lake upstairs, but we didn't dare to swim in it, as animals graze there..
The volcano Karabetov volcano itself on our arrival slept deeply and resembled just a large pile of dried mud, turned into a gray-white cracked area.
We already thought to leave, but by chance we found salsa, mud springs. Actually, for the sake of which everyone comes here. Hills letting in mud bubbles look quite impressive. It is no less interesting to watch how the stream of mud meditatively slides down. At first it seems that he does not move at all..
Some members of our crew could not resist the freebie and took with them a whole five-liter of healing mixture, which we then safely presented in Gelendzhik to connoisseurs of masks and other mud procedures.
Salt Lake Taman
On this day, our dirty adventures did not end and immediately after Karabetovaya Sopka, we went to Lake Solenoe, which is located not far from the village of Veselovka. The mud there is different, but probably no less curative. It was such a vigorous black color that it felt like I was walking around a can of shoe polish. Only on top of this shoe polish was salt and earth sprinkled. By the way, there is really enough salt here, it lies straight in pieces, not so much on Lake Khan.
After driving along the lake to the seashore (there is a very hard surface on the edge, even if you arrange races), we ended up on the beach in a camping. And then they appeared, 4 black sparkling humanoids, well, as if they had arrived from another planet. Our mesmerized glances could be averted only by a herd of Zaporozhets who rustled past. And where did they come from?
How to get there
The best way to get to Karabetovaya Sopka is along the dirt road marked in blue on the map. This is the easiest way. For now a railway has been built there, and it is already difficult to drive from the other side (from the sea). We tried, but the move there was not yet completely ready. In any case, the option on the map is no longer. How do you find the right turn on this dirt road? It is located just before Taman itself, and before the turn, where there is a large sign «Taman». We first turned at the sign, but now it is impossible to drive through there, there is some kind of tower and blocks the way.
It is generally easy to get to the Solenoye Lake. Just focusing on the map. We drove up along the path marked in blue. But you can also drive up from Veselovka. You can also drive up first to the beach where the camping is located, but there is a barrier. We first arrived at the lake, and along its edge we drove to the beach, bypassing all checkpoints.
