Mickey-Mickey - children's cafe on Koh Samui on Bang Po beach

From our first trip to Thailand we liked thai food, so when we were going here this time, we again assumed to eat mainly in a cafe and save ourselves time on washing dishes and cooking. Actually, living on Koh Samui for half a month confirmed our intentions, because there really is no time to cook. But, we did not at all foresee such a feature of our family, which was not in our last winter - Yegor :)

Now we cannot go to an ordinary Thai cafe, because you cannot crawl there because of the mud, or because there is simply nowhere. Well, and I am already silent about the fact that there will be nothing to keep the child busy. That is why, now we either take food home (take away), or go to the children's cafe Mickey-Mickey, which is 10 minutes from us.

In fact, we still eat at the food court in Tesco or Big C, but usually it's a hassle. So this children's cafe was just a salvation. Although you still have to eat in turn, because a person cannot be alone for a minute.

So what's so good about it:

- Very pleasant and cozy environment, which is very pleasing to the eye. For us, this is a kind of comfort-color therapy.
- Large crawling area compared to regular cafes, clean floor, clean furniture and generally everything is clean. And the second level of the cafe is on the beach, where you can lie on the sand.
- A playground, which, however, so far Yegor mostly ignores, but it's still good that it is.
- A car in which you can ride it. Earlier, apparently she drove herself, but that was in the days of the dinosaurs.
- Swing chair, where you can sleep for a while.

Now what is not here:
- No cheap prices. But it seems to me that in all civilian cafes the prices are about the same. For example, Padtay with a seafood costs 120 baht (excluding 100 baht), and a shake is 60 baht..
- For some reason, there is no baby food. I won't say that I specifically looked for it on the menu, but there is a fairly standard set of Thai and European dishes. On the other hand, I have not yet seen any special children's food in Tai (except for mashed potatoes and cereals in the supermarket).
- Only orange juice from fresh juices.

Rice in pineapple is a cool thing :)

And since I mentioned the food court here, then Egor is either trying to get out of the sling, or from the baby carriage, or from the shopping cart, where we also put him for a change. So to eat is sheer torment. By the way, for older children in Tesco and Big C there are playgrounds where they can throw out some of their energy..

And in the food court we eat like this

Where is the children's cafe

It is located on Bang Po beach, almost at its very end, if you go from Maenam, Bo Phut towards Nathon. It will be on the right in the direction of travel right on the shore. There is an excellent landmark - a large figure of a girl in front of the entrance. You can only go if you go too fast.
