Museum manor Ostafyevo - so that I live like this
Sunny days came and we began to slowly get out in the immediate vicinity. The first was the Ostafyevo estate near Shcherbinka and not far from Butovo. So many times I passed by on a bicycle, but it was not leisure to go in, since you cannot go inside on bicycles, and I did not want to go by car or public transport on purpose, although it didn’t take long to get there..
The first impression from the park and the museum of the Ostafyevo estate is that I should live like this. Once again, I understand why some people buy themselves a few hectares and make themselves an estate with their own forest and pond. What a pitiful 6 acres in the country, when here the gaze rests not on the fence, but on the tall trunks of trees on the horizon. It is not necessary to plant everything with tomatoes and radishes :) I hope we, too, will sooner or later decide on a plot of land and our own hacienda.

History of the Ostafyevo Estate Museum
The estate was built by Prince Vyazemsky at the end of the 18th century and most of the time belonged to his descendants. The fourth of them, for some reason, sold it to Count Sheremetyev, who tried to keep everything there, opened several monuments and created the Pushkin Museum. After the revolution, the status of the museum remained, but only until 30, after which various institutions and a rest house were located there. The collection was scattered across other museums and sold out. And only a couple of years before the restructuring, the estate again received the status of a museum..
In fact, this is a fairly typical story for the Soviet era. Historical monuments then did not bother anyone, despite the fact that all the brightest figures of that time appeared in this house: Pushkin, Karamzin (he lived for 12 years), Turgenev, Griboyedov, etc. But I will not bore you with history, it is already full of it on the Internet.
Impressions from the Ostafyevo estate museum
The park is small, not crowded (on a weekday) and pleasant. The most important thing is to walk with a stroller, read a book or talk with friends over a lid (from a thermos) of tea. And the most important thing is not far from Moscow, and the air will already be much cleaner. If only you could swim in the pond, it's beauty in general. Since this was our first outing, every minute we enjoyed the warm breeze, fresh air and the warming rays of the sun..
In fact, there is not much to see in the Ostafyevo estate, I mean in the park itself, you can just be there. The museum is probably more interesting, but we did not get there, since it only works until 4 pm. But it doesn’t matter, I’m somehow not very museums, since I’m a greater lover of nature, we will leave museums for the winter..
Not far from the entrance to the park there is a spring with delicious water, which we did not hesitate to use, having previously poured the purchased one from the bottle. Perhaps later we will come here for her, since due to the distance Holy spring in Talezh, we are too lazy to collect water there and drink filtered water, which is not very good. You can go to the well-spring without going into the park.
Information to visit
How to get to the Ostafyevo estate? Getting there by car is as easy as shelling pears. You need to go along the old Varshavka to Podolsk and at the first turn in Shcherbinka, go to the right, cross the railway crossing and in a straight line (not the main road), without turning anywhere, bypassing the Ostafyevo airport, you will bump into the entrance to the park opposite the church. And by public transport, if you go, then first to the station Shcherbinka by train or minibus (from the metro station Dmitry Donskoy) and then by bus 45 to the destination.
The entrance is paid, but not everyone is charged. We paid as much as 20 rubles for three people with a stroller, and our friend paid nothing. But officially the entrance is 20 rubles per person, except for children under 7 years old. The museum costs an additional 50 rubles, if without a tour.
The park is open from 8 to 22 from April to September, and from 8 to 20 from October to March. The museum is open until 17, on weekdays except Mondays and until 16 on Fridays.

Where the point stands, there is the main entrance to the park and parking. Nice place for walking, but the manor itself is quite small.
