Podolka turned out to be one of the restaurants that I visited on the recommendation of friends (they are present in one of the pictures). It is located in the central part of Prague, in the historical district of Karlin, which is located exactly between the Vltava River and By the winding hill.

Podolka positions itself as a healthy food restaurant with no harmful ingredients and a large selection of vegetarian options. In general, the place is very good, but left behind some understatement.
It seems that this is the very place where you can amuse yourself regardless of your food preferences, whether you are a vegetarian or a meat eater. And the desserts are not bad, and there is a children's corner in the basement - a salvation for family travelers.

But on the other hand, somehow in terms of service the restaurant let us down. I felt it very much in relation to the staff, I don’t know how to describe this negative in words more accurately, but I’m definitely not going here a second time. Moreover, after visiting, I googled reviews on this gate and realized that not one left here with a feeling of dislike.
The interior is simple, not pretentious, with wooden furniture and two bar counters on each floor. Downward access is via a spiral staircase to the left of the bar, and behind the same counter I saw a wood-burning stove, though I did not find it in action. But judging by the powerful chimney - the stove is not a sham.
The restaurant occupies part of the first floor in an old building and has a basement without windows (here they were originally replaced with stretched membranes and fluorescent lamps).
