Sabienglae - Thai seafood restaurant on Koh Samui
Sabienglae Restaurant is a restaurant located next to one of Koh Samui's most popular attractions, offering Thai cuisine and seafood at above average prices. Literally two hundred meters from the restaurant, on the seashore sticking out stone dick, which was loved by tourists from many countries and forever remained in their photographs.

I went to Sabiengle because expats advised me to say it was a good and popular place to eat seafood. In addition, at that moment I lived on Lamai Beach, literally a few minutes by bike from my hotel..
The establishment is located on the seashore and near the ring road. To be honest, he looks quite ordinary, in Thai, without any frills in the interior, so he didn't even take pictures. At the entrance there are nondescript seafood aquariums. I can't say that I really liked it, rather not. The food was quite normal, but I will not say that there was a desire to come here again. Service without an unnecessary smile, as if everything is in a steam bath. Reviews on the same Tripadvisor vary, for some it was very tasty and everything was superb, and someone writes that horror is horror. In general, everything is as usual, you need to go yourself and check how it really is. My review is neutral, you can eat, but there are more pleasant places.
The restaurant serves traditional Thai cuisine, European did not. The choice of drinks is standard, you can see my photos of the menu below. Basically, everything is tailored for seafood, which are most often sold by grams. When you order, check, just in case, how much it will turn out approximately, otherwise you may be surprised at the invoice.
By the way, the sea opposite the restaurant is very shallow and not particularly swimable. And only some of the tables have a sea view. But if you arrive after sunset, when it is already dark, then in general there is no difference where you sit, you will still not see anything. Therefore, if in principle to admire the view of the sea, then it is better to come before dark to take a table. There are enough people in the season, so near the water everything can be busy.
In general - an ordinary tourist «Thai» restaurant, and if you want to get to a more cozy, tasty and authentic place, it is better to take a ride along the roundabout a little further. Immediately behind Red Temple there will be a restaurant Krua Chao Ban where you can indulge your soul over great seafood and truly unique Isaan cuisine.
