Stalinist skyscraper in Warsaw - view from the 30th floor
Whenever there is an opportunity in a new city to climb somewhere higher, I cannot deny myself this (Munich, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur). It's great to look at the city from above. And although in Warsaw it was possible to climb only to the 30th floor, it is still interesting. Although there are skyscrapers here with a large number of floors, I don't know how to get there..

There is not much to talk about here, so just photos. It's only better to choose sunny weather, and not as I went, when it was cloudy and it was already getting dark. On the other hand, I did night photos :)
The observation deck is located on the 30th floor and is a square corridor along the perimeter of the building. It is located on the street and is not heated, in the cold season there is a real oak tree here, even a hat does not save you from strong winds. While I was taking pictures, I thought I would die. All windows are covered with bars to prevent someone from jumping out. And in the center of this square there is a hall with an elevator, a cafe, a toilet, in this part it is warm and you can warm yourself.
Information to visit
The building is called the Palace of Science and Culture, located in the city center near the Centrum metro station, the central railway station and the Zloty Tarasy shopping center. Just come, go inside, buy a ticket and take the elevator, or rather the elevator lifts you where you need to. The only moment, you need to enter from the side of Marszalkowska street into the main entrance, otherwise there are many doors, at first I entered the wrong side.
Opening hours from 9 am to 6 pm.
Ticket price PLN 18.

P.S. Warsaw also has Old city, which has all the appropriate attributes - cobbled streets, buildings with tiled roofs, small cafes and shops with cool interiors. Everything is the same as in other European cities.
