Blogger work is useful and necessary - I dispel another myth!
Occasionally I receive comments from people who are apparently far from blogging, and do not know what this activity is. I already wrote about this post - Blogging is a job. So some people also consider this activity to be absolutely useless! Although they themselves, for sure, use the Internet and sites. It would even be interesting to conduct an experiment - well, if you think so, then do not go to sites at all, do not go to blogs, search engines and social networks. Not all these resources themselves appeared, because they were also created by specific people, supported and developed, and this is their job..
The content of the article
Background
About 10 years ago, I still could not find a job for myself that would combine 3 points at once: like it, benefit, money. There were only two points all the time. But I really wanted my activity not only to be pleasant to me, but also to be useful for other people. Because it is much easier to find something that makes me happy in general, but only needs me alone. Or, on the contrary, there is a bunch of necessary altruistic directions that are very much needed, but you will quickly stretch your legs.
Therefore, money also played an important role, because you want it or not, but you need to eat something and you also need to support your family. Actually, that's why from the very beginning I planned to monetize the blog. And I really liked the idea that the blog itself is free, I don’t want to read it, but the earnings will be on affiliate programs and on advertising clicks, that is, nothing will be lost from the visitor..
Blogging has become exactly the combination where all 3 points I needed immediately turned out to be. I'm not sure if I removed one of them, then I would be able to do this for a long time. More than once an idea arose to make a site purely for earnings, and I even did it, but I do not have enough for a long time, I stop working on it, since it is in fact useless. Well, that is, there is information on it, but it is in such a form that it is a pure business.
Are blogs helpful or not??
In the modern world, information is bought and sold, and it has become very difficult to live without this information. If a person has not gone to the forests to live as a hermit, then he uses at least some Internet resources, whatever one may say. And to say at the same time that the blog is useless, and the portal is useful, is wrong. If you find information on the blog, then that's it, consider this a useful resource, in whatever format it would be made. And behind some kind of sightseeing review are the work hours of a particular person: scribbling itself, collecting information on the spot and photographing, technical support of the site, etc. By and large, it even costs money, because no one has a question when buying a guide from a bookstore..
And then there is entertainment content. Philosophical articles, interesting personal experience, just beautiful travel photos, travel reports. Yes, everyone needs to rest and have fun after work..
Thus, by definition, sites / blogs containing content requested by someone cannot be useless. And the more articles you need, the more benefit. Moreover, it is not necessary that the information or experience should be directly unique, sometimes it is quite simple to present all the material in a competent and structured manner, to aggregate it. After all, the flow of information is huge and it can take a lot of time to filter out the useful. And time, as you know, is money. Found info => read => saved time / money => benefit.
In any case, there is probably no completely useless work now, if someone needs work, then it is not useless. It is only possible that the work of any currency speculators, when money is made out of thin air, is not only useless, but also harmful. What do you think?
Reviews about my work
As an unreported blogger, I generally reacted to all the comments and sometimes even doubted whether I was thinking to myself that someone else needed my work. And you know, even though we have a small audience (mostly people come, get information and leave), that is, the benefits may not be very noticeable, but when I receive comments like those presented below (copied the most recent ones), then you immediately understand that everything is not done in vain. Especially, I am glad that we need reports from the rehabilitation centers where we have been, because information on them is sometimes very lacking or it is in an inconvenient forum format.
I read about rehabilitation in China before, and in our city it is, but classes are much more expensive. We went and we liked it.
It's a pleasure to read you! Thank you so much for a lot of useful information! You put everything on the shelves so cool! In general, none of the parents of special children expresses information in a structured way. To get an idea of something, and even find out about prices and conditions, before deciding, you usually have to shovel the forums for days! That makes your blog especially useful! The information is simply invaluable! Thank you for your work!
There are, of course, much more reviews for Thailand. I have been dealing with this topic for a long time. My infa is not unique, yes, but it is tested, structured, and collected in one place.
Oleg, at the beginning of March, we returned from a large-scale trip to Thailand: we drove 2500 km by car and, to see Sukhothai, we had to detour 1000 km (there and back) by train, bus.
Firstly, I want to say thank you again: it was your photos that sunk into my heart so much that they did not want to throw the park out of the route (it is away from the main path)! Sukhothai is one of the most impressive places we have seen in Thailand!
Secondly, based on your reports on the surroundings of Huahin, we visited Black Babisha, Great Eared, Black Monk, Khao Daeng observation deck and Phraya Nakhon Cave. Thank you very much for the tip! :) Everywhere I liked it very much !!! Bezulovno, hits - cave and observation deck.
In general, so that you know - your work was not in vain. And people «discover Thailand» in your footsteps! :) Good luck!
Guys bloggers, you also get similar comments, I see them on your pages. How can blogs be considered useless after such reviews? :)
P.S. The post is a support for novice bloggers who may take various comments too closely. Our work is needed!
