Petronas Twin Towers
Many of those who come to Malaysia strive to see the Petronas Towers, one of the main attractions Kuala lumpur, which have already become a symbol of this city. To be honest, we did not try to do this on purpose, but since they are located not far from the Thai consulate, we just had to look at them. In any case, it is difficult not to notice them, since they are the highest in the city, and as soon as you look up slightly above the horizon, you rest your gaze on them..

Petronas Towers - view from the city
The Petronas Twin Towers, or Petronas Twin Towers, are the tallest twin towers in the world. Their height is 452 meters, 88 floors, which is impressive. There are skyscrapers in the world and higher, but they are single. Apparently in Malaysia, at one time, they set out to take the first places in the height of buildings: the Kuala Lumpur towers are the highest, the Menara TV tower is the 6th highest (once it was the 4th).

Petronas Towers
Petronas Towers are connected by a glass Sky Bridge, which can be climbed for only 10 RM (100 rubles). And there is no end to those who wish. This is where the main difficulty lies. There are so many of them that it is not a fact that it will be possible to buy a ticket. It didn't work out for us. We were told to come by 8.30 in the morning, stand in a huge line, and maybe you will be lucky and you can buy a ticket for the day after tomorrow.
Update. In 2012, it seems, the rise is already 800 rubles. At this price, why do you need it ...

No tickets today
The desire somehow immediately disappeared, given that this SkyBridge is not at all high, not even in the middle, but only between the 41st and 42nd floors, although it is considered the highest 2-story bridge in the world. Better we are on the Menara tower we will rise, from where the view opens up to all 360 degrees, and from a much greater height. Read how it happened here: Menara Tower in Kuala Lumpur

How do I find the ticket office? We enter the building, turn right, and next to the elevators there is a staircase down, there will be a ticket office.

Next to the Petronas Twin Towers there is a small and very neat KLCC park with a fountain. In our case, it was difficult to walk because of the rain, but from afar, it looked very attractive.

In the shopping center, which is located between the Petronas towers, for some reason, you cannot take pictures. More precisely, you can, but only in certain places. Probably afraid of terrorists.

It was in this shopping center that we met Santa Claus in person, albeit with narrow eyes and his Snow Maiden is black-haired. In general, the atmosphere of the new year in Malaysia is more noticeable than in Thailand..
