A mostly well-maintained, small public beach with shady paths and open sand, a small sunset seating area, a secluded gazebo and a rocky headland. This is the most accessible beach of Pratumnak. The audience here is mostly respectable and not loud. Half of the beach is well-groomed and clean, the second is almost abandoned.

Beach description
The length of a little more than 500 m of flat coastline, in width from 40 m and less, on average about 20 m. The 5th street of Pratamnak goes to Pratamnak beach, it can be considered that the main and central one. That is, the beach is also the main one for this area. Although there is still a beach on Pratumnak Cozy Beach, on the other side of the cape, and a small beach at the Cabbages & Condoms cafe and the Asia hotel (it may seem that it is private and closed, but no, you can easily walk).
And yet, Pratumnak Beach is the most accessible beach in the area. Where the road leads to it, it is a wide area of sand, clean, without shade. On the left, trees grow with secluded paths under them, further, behind a small stone spit begins Dongtan Beach, and behind him - Jomtien.
In the other direction, to the right, there are more neglected places, with rubbish, there is also a gazebo, large and sharp stones in the water. They offer a view of the cottages in the distance, this is the territory of the cafe and the Cabbages & Condoms hotel. In the right, northern, part of the Pratumnak beach there are few people and you can sit almost alone at sunset.
True, it is in the Pratumnak area that tourists are regularly attacked (the area is quite respectable, there is something to profit from), so you should not relax and stay too long.
Entering the water, depth and waves
Since the beach is a direct continuation Dongtana, the same applies to it as can be said of Dongtan. The nuance is that there are stones in the water to the right of the 5th street exit to the beach. In the center there is a swimming area fenced with buoys. On the border with Dongtan, on the left, there is a small stone promontory, but next to it is convenient, sandy entry into the water.
In the center of the beach there is sand, with high water, a rather abrupt entry, at low tide it is smoother. Off-season, from the end of February, a strong wind blows, there are often waves and all kinds of garbage are washed ashore. This applies not only to Pratumnak Beach but also to Dongtan and to some extent to Jomtien.
Sun beds and shade
Immediately opposite the exit there is a large open area, on the sides there is a lot of greenery, palms and other trees grow, under them sun loungers with umbrellas. There is a pleasant shadow even closer to Dongtanu. To the right of the beach exit, behind the trees, there is again a large open area and a gazebo. There are sun loungers in the center of the beach and on the left, on the side where Dongtan is. On the right you can say, a wild beach.

There is 7-Eleven on Fifth Street just before the beach. Further on this street there are shops and a market and cafes, all the tourist infrastructure. On the beach itself, you can find only drinks, very simple snacks, which are brought directly to the sunbed, and hawkers come from time to time. Nothing else.
On the right side of the beach you can have picnics, it’s like a wild beach. On the alley closer to Dongtanu more tourist infrastructure. There is a massage, for example. But in general, the beach is small and more for relaxation, not partying. Pratumnak beach borders the beach Dongtan (to get there, you have to go to the left from the exit of 5th street to the sea), on the cape dividing the beaches there are windsurfs and jet skis.
There is also a water park Pattaya Park with a tower, which offers excellent views of the city. From it you can still go down the cable car directly to the sea.
Houses and hotels on the beach
From the north, as if on a corner, on a small cliff stands one of the most expensive hotels in Pattaya - Golden Cliff, next to it is the Royal Beach View hotel .
In the center of the beach - Centara Grand Phratamnak Pattaya and on the first line two high-rise buildings - Ban Hard U Thong Condominium and Adriatic Palace Pattaya .
From the south, towards Dongtan Beach and Pattaya Park, there are several more large expensive hotels - The Heritage Pattaya Beach Resort and on the border of two beaches - Majestic Residence Pattaya. All these are large, expensive hotel complexes and first line condos..
Along the fifth street of Pratumnak and around, in the depths, there are many more housing. Both hotels and long term condos. There are few houses for rent on Pratumnak, at least at affordable prices, mostly expensive villas and mansions. In general, Pratumnak is considered expensive, «European», tourist area and at the same time many Russians traditionally rest here.

How to find the beach
It is very easy to get to the beach: the 5th street of Pratumnak goes directly to it. If you go along the 5th to the sea and immediately after 7-Eleven turn right, then less than a hundred meters after the Sentara hotel, immediately after Mom Chalay there will be another exit to the beach - to the left. There is no public transport in Pratumnak, so either a taxi or on foot.
Unless, of course, you don't live nearby. There are also good options for getting around Pattaya - a taxi (both in the form of a car and in the form of a tuk-tuk) and a motorcycle taxi.
You can also go to Pratumnak beach through Dongtan Beach, to the beginning of which you can get from the city center on a regular tuk-tuk. Along Dongtana, however, the road is not passable, it is a pedestrian zone.
