Not widely known, small and quiet, surrounded by a hillside overgrown with lush tropical greenery and trees. The water is not the cleanest, but still better than on central beach or even Jomtien. The beach offers soothing views of the sea and the silhouette of Koh Lan. Unlike other beaches in Pattaya, urbanization here is not much of an eyesore. The necessary beach infrastructure is also available.
The beach faces west, so in the morning there is shade from the trees, and in the evenings there is a good view of the sunsets. The beach is located in a rather isolated part of Pratumnak Cape, this area is very touristy and is considered expensive, but at the same time it is not very crowded. Housing is mainly high-rise hotels and condos. There are many Russian tourists and, accordingly, Russian inscriptions in cafes and on the streets.

Beach description
It is more than 600 meters long, from 30 meters wide in the center of the beach and less, at low tide the water leaves for several meters. The sand is light yellow, fine. The water is not transparent, unclear. Garbage sometimes comes across. In general, the water and sand are cleaner than on the large urban beaches of Pattaya. From the south, the beach ends with a rocky cape, which is overgrown with trees and grass, around in the water there are sharp stones and shells.
At low tide you can get to the cape over the stones; this deserted place can be called a kind of park. Further beyond the cape there is a private territory and it is impossible to walk along the coast. At the opposite end of Cozy Beach, on a hill, is the Royal Cliff Hotel. On the same side, low above the beach, there is a concrete path along which you can walk, enjoying the views.
There is also a small green area above the beach on the hill with paths and views of the beach in several places. Down to the beach there are two not very long, but rather steep stairs. On the entrance gate at the top of the stairs it is written that this is a private area and free admission is only from 6 am to 8 pm.
Entering the water, depth and waves
Along the edges of the beach, both in the water and near the shore, there are sharp rocks. On the left side, at the cape, there is a small stone spit going into the sea. Near this place there is a storm sewer drain from the hill right into the sea, so it is better to swim on the other side of the beach and in the middle.
At low tide it is shallow for a long time, during high water the sunset is rather sharp, the sea is not transparent. At low tide there is no wave, since the sea is knee-deep at the coast, but during high water waves can be.
Sun beds and shade
There is a lot of shade on the beach in the morning. protects the hillside with trees from the sun. During the day there is less shadow, by sunset the sun begins to shine from the side of the sea, but by the end of the day it is no longer bright. The beach has several rows of sun loungers under umbrellas. Not sun loungers, which are so common on the beaches of Pattaya, namely sun loungers with mattresses. In order to spread your rug, there is also a place, although the beach is small.

On the beach itself, there are small stalls with soft drinks and a cafe with the usual Thai food and snacks for such establishments. There are jet skis and boats for rent, massage mats at the descent of the stairs closest to the Royal Cliff Hotel. In that part of the Pratumnak district, which is closest to the beach, there are also cafes and shops, 7-Eleven, fruit stalls and everything you need for a comfortable tourist life..
There are also expensive, foreign-oriented shops and restaurants. Not far from the beach is Buddha Hill, an observation deck and a park on a hill, behind which, to the north, is the Bali Hai pier and the center of Pattaya. All other attractions will have to be reached by transport, because Cozy Beach area is quite isolated, although it is close to the center of Pattaya.
Houses and hotels on the beach
The beach is small in length and is located below, under a hill, so there is no housing directly on the coast. There are many high-rise condos and hotels on the hill above the beach. Basically, these are good European quality housing, quite expensive for Pattaya.
In general, the entire Pratumnak area is built up with condos and hotels, there are practically no houses for rent at affordable prices, including near Cozy Beach. At the northern end of the beach there is a large complex Royal Cliff and next to it the hotel, which actually gave the name to the beach - Cozy Beach Hotel .
Another large hotel on a hill, directly by the road and next to the beach - Pattaya Bay Hotel, the rest of the accommodation is located a little further from the coast.

How to find the beach
If you look at the map, then the arc of the beach is located near the center of Pattaya and in particular from Volkin Street, right behind the hill with an observation deck and a statue of a seated golden Buddha - Buddha Hill. Geographically, the beach is located on Cape Pratumnak, but in a slightly isolated part of it, where you need to get from the central streets of Pratumnak through vacant lots and construction sites.
There is no public transport here; there are large hotels and condos around the beach, but to the center and other part of Pratumnak on foot you have to walk through long vacant lots and construction sites on hilly empty roads, quite far, besides. They don't look very safe in the evening..
To regularly get to the beach, you must either live in the same neighborhood, or have your own transport, or come by taxi every time, which is hardly worth it. The system of streets and lanes on Pratumnak itself is quite confusing, the distances are small, but the roads wind through the hilly terrain, bypassing the vast territories of hotels and condos.
The main landmark when getting to the beach is the Cozy Beach Hotel, for which it is named. You can go down directly to the water from the carriageway using one of two stairs in different parts of the beach. True, the entrances have gates, which, judging by the announcements on them, are closed from 8 pm to 6 am, that is, in the dark.
