In my opinion, Bang Saen Beach is similar to Pattaya, only cleaner and the atmosphere is different. The beach is the closest to Bangkok, which is quite convenient. After all, the capital has everything you need, including an international airport. On the other hand, the sea here is not very clean, such a metropolis is nearby.
The sea, to be honest, is not pleasing to the eye at all - there are no azure or turquoise shades, the water is permanently greenish and cloudy. But as a sunbathing beach, Bang Seng is quite a suitable place..
Entering the water, depth and waves
The coast is shallow, it goes deep for a long time, so the sea here is shallow and the ebb tides seriously affect the swimability of the beach - the sea leaves about fifty meters. Despite the color of the sea, people swim, and, apparently, the depth to the shoulders comes no earlier than 20 meters from the shore. There are waves in windy weather, but overall it is a very calm beach.
Sun beds and shade
The beach is wide and bald, trees grow only along the road and they are planted for purely decorative purposes. Nevertheless, there can be a lot of people, it is not for nothing that the whole beach is lined with sun loungers, they stand in dense rows. All groups of sun loungers are associated with a cafe where you can order a variety of Thai food and seafood. Don't expect a tropical paradise from Bangsaen Beach.

Infrastructure
Since the beach is in the city, there is enough infrastructure. City, in a word. There is everything from hospitals to stadiums, several parks, entertainment, several well-known landmarks like the Temple of Hell and Heaven. There is a pedestrian street along the entire beach with cafes and tandem family bike rentals.
Parallel to the beach, literally ten meters from the water, there is still a road, and immediately behind it urban development begins.
Houses and hotels on the beach
Some tourists come here not on vacation, but to live, because here you can rent a condo or a house for a long time. There are many housing options, for different tastes and wallets. Just keep in mind that little English is spoken in this part of Pattaya and you may have some difficulties in communicating with property owners if it is a private house or apartment..

The bus station on Victory Monument no longer exists, the military removed all routes from there, now only go from bus stations. From Victory now only by shuttle to the bus station you can leave.
