So, if you go to Auschwitz, then you will need to stop somewhere and spend the night. Although, if you come in the morning to spend the whole day visiting the camps, and go back in the evening, then there is no need to spend the night. It didn't work out for me, I arrived in Auschwitz in the evening, just after getting enough sleep, in the morning to start the inspection. I'll tell you what kind of hotel I chose. It will also be helpful to read, how to get to Auschwitz.
By the way, as usual, I read the reviews before, and doubted, some scolded him. Upon arrival at the hotel, I once again realized that it is not always possible to trust the reviews, the feeling that people are already getting drunk is already simple. The hotel is quite normal.

Hotel Olecki
When I drove to the hotel, I wondered if I would have nightmares, because it is so close to the concentration camp. But everything was fine, being in the hotel, nothing reminded me of this neighborhood at all. And the next day, walking around the concentration camp, I can't say that it's really creepy there, because there are a lot of people, the atmosphere is hardly felt.
Price and booking
I assume the price is changing, but I booked in advance on the site for 39 euros, at the reception, the price was 20% higher. The price includes a free breakfast. Before the growth of the euro rate, the price turned out to be very good, now it is more expensive, but what to do.
I also looked at other hotels, but it was within walking distance from the railway station and concentration camps that there was nothing, at least in this price category. If you are by car, then of course you can stop in any part of the city..
Room interior
Rooms are small, everything is new and clean. Refrigerator, TV, enough outlets. I had 2 beds in my room, I don't know if there are options with two doubles, but when one overnight stay is all, it doesn't matter.
The internet was ok. But, as I understand it, it only works near the reception, in the rooms on the ground floor and in the restaurant. I just lived on the first floor, everything worked without fail.
Breakfast
Honestly, the free breakfasts are so-so, the choice is very small. Flakes with milk, tea, coffee, cheese / sausage sandwiches and some vegetables. In principle, I am not particularly pretentious, and often I have breakfast with buffers (or their derivatives), so it was fine for me. The main thing was green tea ... It is a pity that the packaged.
Infrastructure and location
There is nothing right next to the hotel. The nearest grocery store (even two) are located near the Auschwitz railway station. And if you go a little further, there will be a large shopping center with Carrefour. There are no problems to get there by car, but you will have to walk a little more than 20 minutes on foot.
But the hotel is well located relative to the Auschwitz 1 concentration camp, right across the street from the entrance to the territory. That is, you can come, leave your car in the hotel's free parking lot, and go on an excursion on foot (100 meters). Next take a shuttle bus to Auschwitz 2 and return back.
