Pha Dang National Park - Waterfall + Hot Springs
Pha Dang National Park is probably not worth visiting on purpose. But if you go to Doi Ang Khang, where I recommend everyone to go, why not stop by, you will still pass by. The place is pleasant.
I'll tell you right away what is there. The main thing is a rather beautiful waterfall, albeit a small one. And the second is the hot springs, where there is almost no one, because the place is not popular at all.

Sri Sang Wan waterfall
First I went to the Sri Sang Wan waterfall. On Google it is designated as Si Sangwan Waterfall. Which is more correct, I do not know. Thais always have problems with transcription, sometimes 3-4 variants are found :)
Xi Sangwan is like Buatong waterfall, he has the same «coating», so to speak. That is, the bottom is covered with calcite deposits, which is why the bed is crème brulee color. Only in comparison with Buatong there is no one here, I walked and wandered there alone. In this regard, I really like unbroken places, the broadcast is cleaner.
In addition to the waterfall, there is a small tropical herb garden (Herb Garden), but it is clearly not very much looked after. Everything is overgrown there, and it just looks like an ordinary corner of the jungle..
Near the garden I met a crowd of Thai Boy Scouts. Apparently they are taken here for a couple of days so that they can practice their boy scouting skills. It was funny to watch the screaming and laughing children hanging out on the rope crossing over the river. The commanders mercilessly shook the rope to make the scouts fall into the river, but they held out with their last strength..

Pong Arng Hot Springs
The territory of the springs is very small. Costs literally in 5 minutes. The sources are not amazing, literally two «smoking» a pond with hot water (there are different temperatures) and a separate baptismal font, where you need to climb to soak.
There are no people, I met only the workers of the National Park and an elderly couple, who just took the procedures in this very font. They called me with gestures, they say, farang, come on to us, but I don't like baths, especially since they are so hot in the heat.
In general, the place is pleasant, like all other national parks, Thais know how to do it beautifully. I wish they would also monitor garbage in cities, as they do in national parks..

How to get there
The waterfall and hot springs are located close to each other, but different roads lead to them from the highway. That is, you will need to visit two places separately and park twice. There are signs on the road.
If you look on the map, then both the waterfall and the springs are located on the same side of the road, the springs are slightly lower on the map. Thus, if we go from Chiang Mai, then first there will be a turn to the springs and then a turn to the waterfall.
If you want to spend the night somewhere nearby, then you need to look at hotels in Chiang Dao, for example, on RoomGuru. And I myself stayed at Chiang dao hut. It's not quite close, but cool cave you can take a look.
P.S. If you are in those parts and love hot springs, then I recommend Fang Hot Springs, the coolest I've seen in the north.
