On the left edge of Patong (if you stand facing the sea), literally across the street from the beach, there is one of the best establishments with European cuisine - Rustic Eatery. The best is not in all of Phuket, but in Patong - for sure. I chose it not according to someone's advice, but according to reviews on Tripadvisor, and the main leitmotif of most of the comments was «Come here when you get tired of Thai food». The place is indeed European, neat, clean, and I have no complaints at all about the quality of the dishes. This is not a one-time cafe that you will bypass after the first acquaintance, but a place with a well-deserved reputation.

In addition to dishes of European and local cuisine, they offer Thai and state craft beer, and they also allow you to bring your own alcohol for a small fee, the so-called «cork collection». A trifle, but nice, especially if you arrived a few hours ago and are carrying a couple of bottles of excellent alcohol from a dutik with you. The price tag for dishes is slightly above average when compared with neighbors in Patong, but it fully justifies itself. They also add 10% to the check for the service, an unusual and therefore not particularly welcomed by Russians nuance.
The special chic at Rustic Eatery is the pizza they cook in a real wood-fired oven rather than an electric oven as is ubiquitous in Thailand. Actually, I ordered it in the first place. True, it turned out to be too much for one, so he took a few more pieces with him to the hotel. By the way, the chef (this is a girl) took the order and then came up and asked if everything was all right. The staff is polite, pleasant and speaks good English.
On the street there is a veranda with a conditional view of the sea, so in the evening you can come for a romantic dinner in the shadow of the setting sun. But by the evening everything is usually busy there, so I generally went to the far end of the hall and sat there in splendid isolation 🙂
