Rest with tents on the Oka - places for tents, map
Unexpectedly for myself, I had a day and a half of free time to go somewhere. Yes, and not with me alone, as well as with my friend, with whom we have not traveled anywhere for several years. We still remember ours with him tour in Russia, as one of the best trips in life. So, if you get out, then definitely with a tent, since this type of rest and travel is always in my first place. It was decided to go to the Oka along the Simferopol highway.

Rest on the Oka
The post is more informational (similar to an article about rest on the black sea with a tent), because we rode all day and looked where you can get up with a tent, but I can't help but write about the rest on the Oka. Guys, this is trash! After Thailand, Krasnodar Territory, Seliger, everything is so sad that I was even upset. Probably, nature lovers need to travel not 100 km from Moscow, but already 200-300 km, otherwise you will be just as upset as I am. Well, either go not to such popular places as Oka, or even not to a reservoir at all. Alternatively, look for places where you cannot drive up by car, but even then you will have to go on a hike to the Oka, if not by car. And the sunset, of course, is beautiful, yes, no matter what ...
The first is garbage. I will never understand this, why shit where you yourself are resting. In reality, there is enough garbage, and it is in the parking lots. Bottles, bags, gobies and more. There are dirtier places, there are cleaner ones, so you have to go and look. Alternatively, remove the trash and burn it (and we did so), but that is if there is not much of it. Otherwise, the rest will turn into a garbage collection / incineration event. Also in some places there is waste. I don’t understand that it’s difficult to move away, where no one walks? Or, if it's scary to go far, then you can't take a shovel and dig in?
Second, the river is dirty. After the seas and oceans, I don't know how to swim in this. The water is muddy, there is a strong smell of mud, algae, the bottom is partially with sand, stones, silt and tires. The people, of course, swim, many come with their children all summer and do not see anything negative in this, but I could not force myself to swim there. Perhaps the reason for the smell and dirt is that the heat has been there for several weeks, and the Oka river has become shallow..
It would be interesting to hear comments from those who go there often, where does such a strong smell come from? And how was it 10 years ago, better or also? It seems to me that, in general, Oka is not the best choice for swimming, because Rospotrebnadzor periodically prohibits swimming in it, either in the Serpukhov region, or in Kaluga, due to all kinds of infections.
Places for tents on the Oka
Okay, I'll go to the tent sites, but ideally it is better to plan for the search at least on the first trip, in order to travel along the banks and look for where you like best. I remind you that from the nearest attractions (well, if you get tired of sitting in a tent), there is estate Pushchino, and Prioksko-Terrasny Reserve.
Naturally, there are much more places for tents, in the post only what we have traveled in a day. Alternatively, you can go somewhere to the Oka and then go all the time only along it, because in many places along the river there is a good dirt road. But every time we went back to the track. Do not forget about the satellite map, it is much easier to navigate by it than by the usual one..
Left Coast
In my opinion, the left bank is dirtier and more crowded. We drove to several places and did not want to stay anywhere. And the beach is bad besides, there is more silt than sand, and sometimes there is no sand at all.
Near Karpovaya Polyana. There is no entrance to the river, but the clearing is located deep in the forest, on the bank of a stinking pond (you can't swim!), Quiet and calm. It is difficult to get there by an ordinary car, sand and pits. We did not get there, got closer to the asphalt, it was late, we had to spend the night somewhere. Turn to the dirt road immediately after Karpovaya Polyana, there are still gates to nowhere near the exit.
The village of Priluki. The end of the road, although it continues further on the map. In the village, you need to turn right near the trash can, after 50 meters inside the village, turn right again, and after another 50 meters to the left to the river, through the gate. Between the village and the river, you will see various unpaved roads, along which you can drive along the coast and look for a place. Basically, people are all right in front of Priluk stop. Dirty and crowded.
Near Nikiforovo. We turn at the sign to the village and drive in a straight line without turning anywhere directly to the river, even when the asphalt road turns to Zibrovo, that is, in this place we move onto the dirt road. Once near the river, we go to the right or left along the dirt road and look for a place. I didn't take pictures, because we saw only one parking lot, and it has no normal shore, solid grass.
Near the spring. This is another road leading to Luzhki and the Republic. The turn to the source is indicated on the road by a signpost. But you need to go not directly to it (there are 50 meters from the road), but turn right almost immediately onto the road with plates. Closer to the river you will see concrete fences, you need to drive further and look for a place. It is so-so, dirty and the coast is bad, although people come here for fishing. We only collected water from the spring.
Between Luzhki and the Republic. We pass Luzhki, where there are also quite a lot of people swimming, despite the steep ramps. And after Luzhkov there are a number of primers that lead to the river. We reach the Oka and along the coast there is a dirt road, we go along it, we are looking for a place. The parking lot we saw with a decent amount of rubbish. Perhaps the neighboring ones are better.
Right bank
The right bank looks more attractive (although maybe we were just out of luck with the left one). We immediately looked at several tents opposite Priluk across the river, and therefore immediately went to this place.
Pushchino. As an option, swim right in the city, where it is located estate Pushchino and ecological trail. There is also a font with water from the spring, where you can then wash off all the mud of the Oka. You can also huddle with a tent here, but you need to understand that this is very close to the city.
Near Krasino-Uberezhnoe. It's better to go from the M4, it's much closer and the road is better, we drove from Pushchino and spent a couple of hours on it, I don't recommend it. There are many turns, so it's easier in azimuth / navigator. First, turn to Taraskovo from the M4, drive to Grigorievskoye, turn towards the greenhouses (huge greenhouses occupy the entire field), past them and to the bank of the Oka. There is a good dirt road along the Oka, and from it there are turns to the parking lots. In my opinion, here are the best places, and relatively clean, and quiet, and the coast is nothing.

P.S. My task was to stay in the fresh air and spend the night in a tent (that is, initially without swimming), for these purposes Oka is, in principle, suitable.
