A passable attraction worth including in your itinerary with a note «for 10 minutes». The main thing to remember (and I am writing about this at the very beginning of the article) is that this is a moving sculpture, and it does not work in case of snowfall or frost - it is covered with a special cover. An unusual sight: the completely silent movement of shiny details that suddenly fold into the shape of Kafka's head.

Head of Kafka in Prague
I would say that all this is somewhat reminiscent of the movement of thoughts that make up a person's personality. And by the way, do not confuse the two monuments: the Head of Franz Kafka and the monument to Franz Kafka. They are a little bit really kick-ass how far they are from each other, and in terms of entertainment they differ like a filmstrip and a blockbuster.
The statue was made by order of the city by the notorious sculptor David Cherny. Now, according to tradition, I must write here «shocking», «scandalous» and «defiant», so that you are sure that we are talking about that very David Cherny. So, for 30 million crowns, he created something sparkling, moving and really memorable.
The 10-meter head is made up of 42 steel discs that can rotate in different directions together and separately. As they say, disk rotation algorithms are set remotely and almost by David Cherny himself. The information is unverified, but intriguing. During my visit, there were some random rotations, but on some videos on the network I saw combinations that were repeated for several minutes.
