What kind of apartment you can rent in Sochi in the very center + video

Before the trip, I laid out mine A selection of highly rated and reviewed hotels, see if you like something.

Of course, I thought about taking advantage of one of those hotel options, but we ended up with the whole family, which means that an apartment for rent was very desirable for us. Moreover, we initially wanted to live in the Central District, the most expensive and popular (and flattest). Ideally, I would also like to live in other areas in order to better understand the city, but apparently for another time. In principle, we will go to Adler to live in the near future, but this is not exactly Sochi. Okay, I'll tell you briefly about our current apartment..

About housing in Sochi

If I were the owner, I would redo everything here, combine, as far as possible, the kitchen and one of the rooms, which is still a walk-through. It would make a great living room! The further, the more I like spacious studios with separate small bedrooms. I do not understand why the necessary kitchens of 5 sq.m. And in general, I like to live somewhere on the 20th floor with a view (like how we lived in Hong Kong). Since the entire center of Sochi is built up with Khrushchevs, we also ended up in exactly the same one. Yes, there are modern houses here, but there is almost nothing for rent in them. I can say right away that if accessibility to the city center is not needed, then living here is an amateur. In addition to the dubious Khrushchev houses, there is also a problem with parking everywhere. Okay, let them have paid parking lots, but there is not much space on them either. I'm afraid to imagine what's going on here during the season. Ideally, you need a high-rise building with its own parking.

As I was told, Khrushchevs are almost the best thing here. The fact is that many people violate all conceivable and inconceivable building codes, so it's better to buy a Khrushchev, there is not such a big chance of running into problems.

The apartment cost 2700 rubles / day. Here is a direct link to booking. This is not the best price, but it is the very center and a two-room apartment, and quite large in size. Initially, we wanted to take this one from the same owner, it is nicer and better thought out, but, unfortunately, it was already taken.

Interior

The good news is that the Khrushchev buildings in Sochi look pretty neat, like all the courtyards around. In our entrance, however, one wall is too badly peeled off, but along the way, it was the neighbors who flooded someone, the other entrances were clean and painted. The apartment is two-room, the floor is old, the rest is renovated, one of the rooms is a walk-through. Each has a corner sofa bed and a wardrobe. There is an air conditioner in the back room; it is the same for the whole apartment. There are two televisions, one large and modern, the second will soon become a museum piece. The kitchen is well equipped, there is a gas hob, microwave oven, kettle. There are enough dishes, but only one saucepan and a frying pan. We, as usual, drive with a multicooker, it saves us. Due to the fact that the Khrushchev-style kitchen is small, the refrigerator is located on a covered loggia. The bathroom has a washing machine, centralized hot water (+ there is an instantaneous heater just in case). Towel and bed linen available.

The owner (the intermediary, most likely) met on time, and along the way he resolved emerging issues, did not disappear (communicated through What’s up). The Internet ended - he paid right away, the washing machine ran out - he called a plumber. By the way, finally, the normal speed of the Internet is 30 Mbit / s for input and output, otherwise it got in the previous housing, the video could not be downloaded.

Second floor, no elevator. I dragged the stroller by hand, Daria drove it up the steps. 2 minutes from the house magnet. The second magnet is 10 minutes away. There are several fruit and vegetable shops nearby. To the shopping center Okay and Hypermagnit 2.5 km. Near the river embankment, seaport and Park "Riviera, there is a place for a walk. In principle, you can walk to the sea in 15 minutes. In general, in terms of infrastructure, everything is fine.

The car park is right in front of the windows on Roz Street. The road is one-way, so you need to enter from the Moskovskaya side. In October, the parking space was always at least 1-2. Alternatively, you could stand with the emergency gang and wait (literally waited a few minutes). Parking is paid (like everything in the center), but they say that fines do not come, especially to nonresidents, as they are not entirely legal. It is impossible to park directly in the courtyard of the house, it is narrow and self-occupation.

Yard roads are very narrow, but for that palm trees grow

And the locals are busy grabbing parking lots
