As, probably, many have already understood, the trip to Asia this year will still take place, albeit with completely different goals, thoughts and feelings. Everything is real, however! First I'll go there alone to do two group tours, and sometime in November the whole family will join me. I really hope that there will be no obstacles so that our Yegorka can swim at least a little in the ocean and bask in the sun. We will most likely not be hibernating all winter long, so somewhere around the new year we are planning to go back. Although, who knows, maybe fate will decide so that we will be delayed. Just give me freedom, I would muddy the world too 🙂

Route and plans
My itinerary: Hong Kong - Macau - Bangkok - Kamphaeng Phet - Khlong Lan National Park - Hua Hin - Bangkok.
On October 17, I will fly to Hong Kong, where I will stay for almost 4 days. Next take a ferry to Macau, for a day I will wander around the city and to Bangkok. After a couple of days in the capital of Thailand, we will move north to the historical and national parks, where I hope to see places that are not very popular with tourists. And then the sea and Hua Hin will be waiting for me. This, of course, does not end there, for it is coming group trip to the north of Thailand (there are still places), I have already described the route and I will not repeat it here. If possible, then somewhere in the intervals between the groups or after them, I would gladly stop by in Krabi and Phangan, perhaps already with my family. So, invitations to visit are accepted from those who still (or already) live in Thailand and would like to meet.
Note: the price of the flight, taking into account the visit to 2 new countries, turned out to be very attractive. Direct flight Moscow-Hong Kong by Aeroflot cost 11,500 rubles, flight Macau-Bangkok 3100 rubles. The ferry from Hong Kong to Macau is somewhere between $ 20-30. As a result, for ~ 15,000 rubles, I fly to Thailand and also see two countries on the way. It will be necessary to return somehow, too, intricate to return to save on flights.
New thoughts and sensations
It's funny, but something happens to us that we once read about and in which we hardly believed - our son changes our attitude to life and worldview. Now my next dream is coming true - a trip to Asia, to Thailand, albeit for a short time, but it seems to be no longer really needed. I really really wanted to get there all year after our return, and I was also very upset that we became attached to Moscow, from which I had long wanted to leave. Imagine living for 6 years with the intention of leaving, going towards it, eventually getting the opportunity to move and finding out that you will have to stay in Moscow for a completely different reason (who does not know - here is an article about it).
But I didn’t write this to make someone feel sorry for me 🙂 On the contrary, everything is fine, and life goes on as usual. Now Thailand and life in it are not so important to me. No, I have not resigned myself to the circumstances (there is still travel!), But rather reconsidered my life goals, and came up with new dreams. Once I already wrote that everything starts with a desire, and now it is very clear to me that I need a smiling Yegor more than some kind of Asia, which is secondary. So I'm sad that I'm on my own for now, and so I'll be back as soon as possible. With family, as it turned out, it can be good everywhere, who would have thought that children give so much joy 🙂
Preparing for the trip
Traditionally, I will write what I had to do before leaving for a week and a half. Everything was somehow resolved very quickly, and the time was catastrophically short. Good that new passport, international law and bank cards, I received back in the spring.
- Write a few articles so that at least something is published on the blog.
- Form groups, answer questions, tell them basic information and purchase tickets.
- Complete any work and refuse new.
- Obtain a Thai visa in Moscow, so as not to dangle in a visa run.
- Buy a photo bag as mine Kata 3n1-33 photo backpack still too cumbersome for such trips. A little later I will review the bag, and also gut my backpack in the video in order to show what I am taking with me..
- Buy a pair of travel bags so that little things do not dangle around the backpack (I used to use bags, but this is not very convenient). The task turned out to be some kind of non-trivial, either I don't understand what, or the manufacturers of travel bags.
- Replace your old smartphone with a modern device. True, the problem of choice was very serious, since I had to choose between a smartphone and a tablet. This kind of choice only occurs to me along the way 🙂
- Make an additional bank card for Daria, since we usually travel together, and she did not have her own card, and you need to have access to the family treasury even during my absence.
- Prepare for your trip and pack your bags for Asia. It turns out that I need so little when I'm on my own.
- Forget rearranging the room and upgrading some of its elements. We periodically do this, adapting the space to current needs, respectively, without me this event could not have been held, and the moment was about to come..
- And much more related to making life easier for the family in my absence.
So tomorrow I have a plane and new countries are ahead. I will try to immediately write about everything that happens, both interesting and not so much 🙂
